Reputations are an important system in World of Warcraft, as they allow you to buy powerful items and enchantments. Some of Classic Wrath of the Lich King's strongest pre-raid gear can be bought from these factions, and the Argent Crusade is no different. Leading the charge against the armies of the Lich King, and infused with the power of justice, they are certainly a faction you will want to befriend.

This guide will show you what items can be obtained from the Argent Crusade reputation, where to buy them, and how to obtain enough reputation in order to do so.

How To Increase Argent Crusade Reputation

To really begin your reputation grind with the Argent Crusade, you must first reach the rank of Friendly. This requires obtaining 3,000 reputation points and allows you to buy items from their Quartermaster.

To gain this initial rank of reputation, you will have to complete certain quests, which for the Argent Crusade are spread out around Northrend. They can be found in zones such as Dragonblight, Zul'drak, and Icecrown, and you may have to visit various quest hubs in order to gain enough rep. Icecrown is the best zone, as there are a bunch of quests at the Argent Vanguard, although you will need to reach level 77 to accept them.

Once you reach Friendly, you can stop the grind there, as you are WoW Classic Gold now eligible to buy the Tabard of the Argent Crusade from the Quartermaster. This is the best way of farming rep in WotLK, and makes questing rather inefficient in terms of time expended.

The Argent Crusade Quartermaster is Veteran Crusader Aliocha Segard, who is located at the top of the Argent Vanguard camp, in Icecrown.

Once equipped, the Tabard will provide a reputation increase with the specified faction, if you kill an enemy that would otherwise grant you reputation. This means that when you reach the higher level WotLK dungeons, or take part in any Heroics, you should equip this Tabard before beginning your grind.

All level 80, dungeons and every Heroic difficulty version will give reputation, and you should find yourself quickly accruing large amounts of rep. You can do this to Exalted, and due to the speed with which you can max out a rep in WotLK, questing past Friendly is Wotlk Classic Gold somewhat irrelevant until you can take part in this high-level content.
